The man bends to give a goblet with a white flower to a dignified young lady. Each cup has white flowers that symbolize pure love with pure motifs. Now we see what the two cups behind the sad man in Five in Cups were – an old love returned! The sad man had much more than he thought. Here there is healing in the sweet romance, longing and daring to open one’s heart again. But like everything in the Cups suite, in moderation. This is the suite for all forms of abuse and addiction, which we see in the next card – Seven of Cups where once again one has gone too far.
